Pick DashThis when…
- Your clients' data lives in platforms it connects, and live is the point.
- Clients expect a shareable dashboard URL, not a monthly letter.
- Preset AI callouts on dashboards cover the commentary you send.
Pick ReportSkills when…
- Most of your reports run on exports someone emails you — or data with no API at all.
- The deliverable is a document: cover, your brand, one client's rows, a note written for them.
- You want the bill flat while the client list grows, and a log that says who opened what.

What is the difference between a dashboard tool and a report press?
A dashboard tool pulls live data from connected platforms into shareable views; the value is the connector. A report press takes whatever data you have — pasted tables, CSV exports — and turns it into per-recipient branded documents that go out on a schedule with a delivery log. If your data lives in connected ad platforms, the connector matters. If it lives in exports and other people's unwillingness to grant access, the press does.
Does DashThis send PDF reports to clients automatically?
DashThis supports automated periodic emails with the dashboard attached, PDF export, link sharing and full white-labeling on every plan — that part is genuinely strong. Where it differs from a report press is the unit of output: one dashboard is one view. Producing thirty separate letters, each with only one client's rows and commentary rewritten per recipient, is a different machine.
When is ReportSkills the wrong choice versus DashThis?
When your reporting runs on live data from the platforms DashThis connects — GA4, Google Ads, Meta and the rest — and clients expect a shareable dashboard rather than a monthly letter. The connector coverage is the product there; we do not match it today, and say so plainly in our own FAQ.
